![]() This is a well written romantic suspense novella for all of us who love the Wounded Hearts world. I really would have liked this to have been a longer book with more romantic elements. ![]() It was a very fast reunion and change in feelings. I liked that they were brought together by their concern for the two small boys and Rebecca’s safety. ![]() I feel this novella though is too short for all the additional characters and if you haven’t read the other stories they are just confusing and not needed for Rebecca and Mitch’s story. It is always fun to find out how characters from previous books are progressing. If you have not read the previous stories, you will have many questions as to why they have been living separately for this long with no backstory. They have returned to their small town and lived separate lives. For five long years, they have not let anyone know they were married on a whim in Vegas. If you have read the previous Wounded Heart stories, this novella wraps up issues from the previous books and we have all been waiting for Mitch to go and claim Rebecca. I feel like I have a split personality writing this review. I do feel that the reader should read the previous books in this series to really enjoy this novella. ![]() This author always entertains me with well written, heart-felt romances. SUMMER LOVIN’ is novella length and the fifth story in the Wounded Hearts series by Jacquie Biggar. ![]()
